(Ningbo, China). On 24th December, the initiating ceremony of Beilun Kangmiao Charity Fund (hereafter referred to as “the Fund”) was officially held at the Beilun Education Center. Hape Group - one of the most important sponsors of the Fund, was invited to attend the ceremony and present the donation, along with the Deputy District Chief, Zhang Haihang; Director of the Beilun Education Bureau, Wang Mingliang and the President of the Beilun Charity Association, Jiang Suchun among others.
The Fund was established to promote the healthy development of local children, especially their mental health by subsidizing children unable to afford psychological intervention as well as supporting public charity projects and mental health volunteers. In December, 2021, supported by the Beilun Education Bureau and Charity Association, Hape Group donated 1,000,000 RMB to the Fund, providing financial support for children with mental health issues and thereby creating a more child-friendly environment.
“To make the world a better place for our next generation.” Following Hape Group Founder and CEO Peter Handstein’s long-held belief, we, as always, devote ourselves to bringing happiness to every child across the world. Sticking to our original intentions, this endeavour was Hape’s second large-scale charity fund donation. It followed on from a donation of 5,000,000 RMB in 2017. Hape always aims to do our utmost to help children in need all over the world.
